| Nostalgia |

"Nostalgia: wistful desire to return in thought or in fact to a former    time in one's life, to one's home or homeland, or to one's    family & friends; a sentimental yearning for the happiness of a former place or time."

I believe myself to be very, very nostalgic. Nearly at least once every day I will day dream about a former time or experience I've had and most of the time these memories become apparent due to the music I listen to.

I know this is quite a generic comment, but music has played a huge part in my life. Nearly all of my most played songs will take me back to a memory or thought. The music I listen to generally means a lot to me through either a memory or the story in the lyrics.

I decided it would be nice to do a nostalgic post every few days on old or forgotten bands of my teenage years and maybe a story behind the memory. I've been able to keep a track of my music taste through my teenage years using a site called Last.Fm. It enables you to record all the tracks you play off selected PC's. It doesn't record absolutely everything, but it gives a rough idea.

Busted were one of the first bands ever I properly invested my heart in to. I remember playing their albums on repeat, singing along, recording all their videos and interviews; they were my ultimate childhood favourite boy band. I liked they were different and a bit cheeky at the time. I remember getting my Mum to search around HMV for hours looking for their album that wasn't released yet, (my bad). I've also met a really close friend because of this band. After Busted broke up, we met on Bebo 2007, to try reunite the band. We had a page and a petition and would spend a huge amount of time on the project. We've been tweeted by the band members and we're extremely close because of the band. I still believe it or not have all the albums on my iPhone and still love a good listen when I'm having one of my nostalgic days. One of my favourite songs by them have to be 'When The Day Turns In To Night" - such a beautiful acoustic song of theirs. It was also amazing news to find out McBusted would let me live my childhood dream of seeing them life, (well sorta').

Did any of you guys listen to Busted when you were younger?
Comment below if you're going to see McBusted!!

Love S x
